MAJOR LOVE is the moniker of Canadian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Colleen Brown – and a collaboration featuring Alberta rock darlings Scenic Route To Alaska. Co-produced by Jesse (& the Dandelions) Northey, and Aaron Goldstein (Daniel Romano, Altameda) – they’ve made an album of ‘soulful pop-rock music for their hoser friends’.

PARTY JACKET born out of a bottle in Dirt City, Party Jacket is a newly minted band from Edmonton, AB consisting of Lindsay Pratt (Twin Peaks), Lindsay Bueckert (Misery Mountain Boys/The Give 'Em Hell Boys), John Aram (Wilka Pacha) and Billie Zizi.

MELAFRINQUE "Melanin from Africa" is a band consisting of musicians from different parts of Africa.
MELAFRINQUE
FARHAD KHOSRAVI was born in 1988 in Isfahan, Iran. He started learning santur (Persian dulcimer) from a young age. He earned experience in performance and composition through collaboration with several professional music and theatre ensembles in Iran. Farhad moved to Canada in January 2012 to continue his studies at the University of Alberta. Since then he has performed as a santur player and composer with the Pegah ensemble, Karim Gillani, and as a solo artist.
